The treasures of Pienza are yours for the taking – Piccolomini Palace, the Castle of Corsignano and three inspiring streets – Via del Bacio (Street of the kiss), Via dell’Amore (Street of Love) and Via della Fortuna (Street of Fortune). Meander through this tiny town to figure out what it’s like to live under the Tuscan sun.
From Pienza to Montepulciano, “the paradise of Tuscan wine.” Montepulciano boasts stunning panoramic vistas of the Tuscan countryside, winding alleyways and, most importantly, world-class wine. Take a tour through an underground wine cellar from the Medieval times all the while tasting a variety of wines, cheese, olive oil and honey. If that doesn’t set Montepulciano apart, this might just change your mind in one word: Twilight. This trip has the option to visit the piazza where “New Moon” was filmed.
